Friday Fictioneers – Father and Daughter
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Friday Fictioneers and I thought as part of my new writing regimen, I would start doing this.
So, here you go. And as always constructive criticism is welcome and very much appreciated.

Miriam made her way down the rickety steps to the cellar. She remembered her father telling her, “you won’t like what you see.”
Bracing herself, she turned on the light and was instantly elated.
That weekend she made her first capture. She was excited and proud as she dragged the small catch to the cellar.
“I told you to stay out,” Miriam’s father bellowed.
“Show me how you do it,” she said pulling her capture into the cellar.
Hoisting the small creature on to the table he gave her a smile.
“How’d you get ’em?”
“I said I’d be his girlfriend.”
Yeagh, they are a pair of creeps. Wonderully scary story. Great voices.

Must run in the family. Amazing that such a person would have a daughter to pass it along to.
Great story! I hope you’ll read mine here.

Thanks Alice for stopping by. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I bet somewhere out there there is a father/daughter duo doing something like this. Whatever this is.

Uhm, yeah, neither seem like the type I’d want to run into and I DON’T want to know what they are doing with the captives in the basement. Very good, if creepy.

Hi Trent, yeah I don’t recommend being anywhere near these two. Glad you enjoyed my creepy little story.
